The Empowered Futures MCB Training held at APWA was an impactful session designed to enhance the skills and capabilities of women in the community. Organized in collaboration with MCB (Muslim Commercial Bank), the training aimed to empower women by providing them with valuable knowledge and resources to improve their financial literacy, business skills, and career opportunities. On 4th May 2023, APWA Multan hosted a heartwarming Eid Milan Party to celebrate the joyous occasion of Eid and bring together members of the community. The event was an opportunity for women and families to come together in a festive atmosphere, sharing the spirit of Eid through music, food, and cultural activities. The Eid Milan Party featured traditional Eid delicacies, an assortment of refreshments, and fun-filled activities, allowing attendees to relax, network, and enjoy the celebration. It was also a chance for APWA members to connect with one another, celebrate their accomplishments, and strengthen community bonds. The event reflected APWA’s commitment to fostering unity, joy, and cultural exchange while supporting women’s empowerment and community welfare. The Eid Milan Party was a memorable occasion, filled with laughter, sharing, and the celebration of traditions.

On 25th March 2023, APWA Multan organized a ration distribution event to support underprivileged families in the community. This initiative aimed at providing essential food items to those in need, especially during challenging times. The event was a part of APWA’s ongoing efforts to ensure that vulnerable groups, including women, children, and the elderly, have access to basic necessities. Volunteers and members of APWA worked together to distribute the ration packs, which included staple items like flour, rice, pulses, oil, and other essential food supplies. On 1st March 2023, APWA’s executive members held an important meeting with the Head of Department (HOD) of the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) department at Bahauddin Zakariya University (BZU) Multan. The purpose of this meeting was to discuss potential collaborations between APWA and the university, particularly focusing on empowering women through educational initiatives and technology. During the meeting, APWA members and the HOD explored opportunities for women students to engage in skill-building programs, internships, and workshops related to computer science and technology. The discussion also touched upon the importance of bridging the gender gap in tech fields and providing more opportunities for women to excel in STEM education and careers. This collaboration aimed at creating a platform for women to enhance their skills and knowledge, preparing them for future career opportunities and contributing to women’s empowerment in the region. On 8th March 2023, APWA organized a vibrant and successful Funfair and Mina Bazar event to celebrate International Women’s Day. The event was held with the aim of bringing together the community to promote women’s empowerment while offering a day of entertainment, shopping, and cultural activities. The Mina Bazar featured a wide range of stalls selling handmade crafts, clothes, jewelry, and local products, providing an opportunity for women entrepreneurs to showcase their work. The Funfair offered various activities for families and children, creating a lively atmosphere that brought people of all ages together. This event not only served as a fundraiser for APWA’s ongoing initiatives but also highlighted the importance of supporting local women-led businesses and encouraging community participation in social causes. The Funfair and Mina Bazar were a great success, with attendees enjoying a day full of fun, shopping, and celebration of women’s achievements.
